I took my 1967 Camaro RS convertible to these people. I paid these guys $14K+ to do body work, restore and complete "show car" quality paint and the max clear. The estimate was 3 months, and after 22 (TWENTY TWO) months of delays and bad excuses, I picked up my car, and the paint has runs, scratches, nicks, scuffs, dings and even a few dents! They managed to lose parts I brought to them, lose parts I paid them to order, and lose parts that were ON or IN the car! They lost the stereo, speakers, lost a lot of other parts, never put on parts I paid for, they lost my wiring harnesses that were brand new and $1,000+ in cost! The car's main (brand new) wiring harness was cut into with them "guessing" how to put the car back together. One of the headlight doors doesn't open, the headlights weren't aligned, the turn signals no longer worked, the windshield wipers no longer worked, the brake lights work only sometimes, the brakes didn't work on the way home, nor the dash lights at night, there are shorts everywhere (a scary drive home!) It is going to cost me $1,700 to get the mechanical and electrical fixed by a qualified mechanic, which were all things brand new and working when I took the car into them in mid April of 2007. I just got it back in Feb 2009! The paint has runs, is badly prepped and they even painted over rust on some parts! They painted the car over a year ago and managed to damage it and tried to cover it up with dark black paint that doesn't match and buff it to try and hide how bad it is! They never answer their phones, and never return voice mail left for them. I've sent them Certified Mail and UPS "proof of delivery" letters with the complaint and asking for resolution, etc. and they completely ignore me. They ignored my requests for updates for days, weeks and even months at a time when they had the car (always thousands of dollars ahead of me where I didn't pull a (now) "basket case" out of their shop (it wasn't when I brought it in, I drove up to them with it running fine, all put together!), as I was worried it would cost more if I pulled it from them and took it to somewhere else, so I tried to allow them to finish it instead, which they never did). They started out okay, and it just got worse over time. The main contact guy that speaks English is always away in Mexico and the other brother just disappeared completely. At one point I didn't hear anything back for weeks and drove to their shop only to find an eviction notice on the door and the business was empty. They suddenly moved to a new location without any notice. I waited and watched closely over this time and had trouble sleeping every night thinking about my car. Now, at least I have the car, but their continued dismissal of the problem and offers of resolution are going to see them in court very, very shortly. Their California BAR license to practice was valid when I took my car in originally, but it has been delinquent since Jan 29th of 2008 and they still haven't got the license and shouldn't be operating legally. I told them this and they dismissed it. I've filed complaints with the Cal BAR, as well as BBB, and still get no response. These people are complete scammers in my opinion. Essentially, I waited 22 months and paid $14K+ for a car that's in a condition where I have to pay someone else to do a complete restore/repaint/reclear on the body, buy parts I've paid them for and never got or brought to them that they lost, and pay an extra $1,700 for the electrical problems they created that didn't exist! Also, they managed to put deep scratches in my windows that were fine before, and now need to be replaced. This is utterly pathetic and they'll surely be out of business by the time anyone reads this review. If not, STAY AWAY! I wish I could give them ZERO stars, but the rate meter doesn't allow it!
